Charlie Franklin Higgins, 81, of Baxley passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at The Pavilion.
Mr. Higgins was born May 16, 1941 in Appling County to the late Henry Theford Higgins and the late Annie Bell Baxley Higgins. He was a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church and was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Lee Higgins.
Survivors include his children, Patsy Ann Brice of Forsyth, Rebecca Rena Hutto of Baxley and Charlie Shaun Duesling of Ocala, FL. Seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Friendship Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Chaplain Drew Corbett officiating.
Active pallbearers were Keith Hutto, Kyle Hutto, K’leb Merritt, Ken Wiggins and Joe Eaton.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
