Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mr. Brian Keith Johnson, 45, who passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, at St. Vincent Riverside in Jacksonville, FL. He was a native of Appling County and a graduate of Appling County High School Class of 1994. Mr. Johnson served on the Graham Fire Department and the Appling County Rescue First Responders and was employed by the City of Waycross Public Works.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Howard Sr. and Rachel Johnson; and his sister, Kathy Killi.

Surviving are his wife, Mandy Johnson of Waycross; three children, Dane Johnson, Aaron “Sydney” Johnson, and Brian Keith Johnson Jr., all of Waycross; one brother, James Howard Johnson Jr., (Dana) of Brunswick; two nephews, David Wayne Hivley of Texas, Benjamin Aaron Hivley of Baxley; one niece, Makayla Vera Pfau of Baxley; four sisters-in-law, Christina Stowe, Tricia (Rocky) Peeples both of Baxley, Debbie (Leon) Gilbert of Lake City FL, Linda (Charles) Sweat of Starke, FL; one brother-in-law, J.R. Stowe (Rhonda Johnson) of Baxley; mother and father-in-law, Betty and Eddie James of Baxley; and a father figure, Danny Giddens of Baxley also survive.

The funeral service was held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Nobles Funeral Home with the Reverend Rick Brown and Chris O’Quinn officiating.

Internment followed in the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were James Johnson, Danny Giddens, David Wayne Hivley, J.R. Stowe, Eddie James, and Tim Lowe.

Honorary Pallbearers were Appling County Rescue First Responders and Graham Fire Department.
