BEVERLY LEGGETT SIMMONS

Nobles Funeral Home Crematory announces the funeral service for Beverly Leggett Simmons, 48, who passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. Beverly loved gardening, arts and crafts, fishing, grilling, and spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a certified pharmacy technician previously working with Appling Healthcare, and a licensed cosmetologist since 2013. 

Beverly is preceded in death by her father, Ira J. “IJ” Leggett, and a brother, Ira “Buddy” Leggett. 

Surviving is her husband, Charles Simmons, children, Jessica Faulk (Christopher), Michael Beecher (Leslie), and Hannah Beecher, grandchildren, Cayson “Peanut” Beecher, Lane “Sweetpea” Beecher, Walker “Little Buddy” Hall, and Charlotte “Charlie Mae” Beecher, stepchildren, Scotty Simmons and Chris Simmons, step grandchildren, Allie, Randyn, and Rhett Simmon, mother, Rosa Lee Leggett, siblings, Sarah Tanaka (Juan), Debbie Taylor (Robert), Carlos Leggett, and John Leggett (Tonya), and lifelong friend, Stacy Crowe. 

The funeral service was held Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Nobles Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Virginia Herrington, Reverend Richard Lewis, and Pastor Agnes Sellers officiating. 

Interment followed in Legget Family Cemetery. 

The family received friends Monday evening beginning at 6:00, at the funeral home. 

Active Pallbearers were Jeffery Simmons, Lee Simmons, Rhett Simmons, Dale Johnson, Ryan Watts, and Matthew Taylor.
