Asia K. Smith was born to the parentage of the late Lorenzo Smith and Virginia Hood on October 12, 1993. She departed this life to rest from all her labor on December 25, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Asia graduated from Appling County High School in 2012. Asia was a very loving daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. Asia was loved by many, and her children were her heart. She was a sweet, loving soul. Asia was preceded in death by her father, parental grandparents, and a brother, Lorenzo Thomas, Jr.

Asia leaves precious memories to be cherished with her mother, Virginia Hood; beloved daughter, Matasia Bentley; beloved son, Matthew Bentley, Jr.; loving grandparents: Shirley Paulk and Johnny Clemons; loving sisters: Candace Gallamore and Tiffany Smith; brother, Benard Smith; special friend, Carlos Yarborough. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends.

Musical selections were rendered by Keith Hill, Jr., and Anthony Moore. Eulogy was given by the Pastor Pearlie Pearsey.

Active pallbearers were Julius Butler, Gary Gallamore, Lagerald Gamble, Curtis Johnson, Jalen Grimes and Montana Anderson.

Honorary pallbearers were the Appling County High School Class of 2012.

Final arrangements were entrusted to C. M. Brown Funeral Home.
