The two (2) listed above precincts will be consolidated to Spring Branch Baptist Church, located at 707 Spring Branch Baptist Church Rd, Baxley, Ga. 3151. Precinct (5A) will be moved to Emergency Management Agency Building, located at 259 W Parker St, Baxley, Ga. 31513.

The purpose(s) of consolidating the current two (2) and moving voting precincts: inadequate space and poor conditions.

The consolidation changes will not affect the implementation of voting by mail. 45 days prior to each Federal and State elections, and Early Voting at the Appling County Election Office for the 3 weeks prior to each election, and two Saturdays.

The Appling County Board of Elections will hold two (2) hearings on this proposed change for the convenience of the voters of Appling County, Ga. The first hearing will be held December 2, 2021 at5:30 pm, at the Board of Election’s Offices; 83 S. Oak Street, Baxley, Ga. 31513. If you are unable to attend this meeting another hearing will be held December 9, 2021 at 5:30 pm in the Board of Election Office.

Anyone wishing to object to this consolidation shall do so in writing stating the reason for such objection and may file such objections with the Appling County Election Supervisor, Shonda Carter, and 83 S.
