Sam Olens, candidate for Georgia Attorney General, stopped by The Baxley News-Banner for a visit recently. Olens is shown above with local resident and Georgia Republican Party First District Chair Pat Tippett. Olens states that as attorney general he will represent Georgians and challenge the federal health care bill, prosecute elected officials who violate their oaths of office, and establish statewide grand juries to assist prosecutors in fighting gang and drug crimes. He stated that he has already protected Georgians by fighting and defeating the ACLU against their assualt of prayer in public meetings and by working with sheriffs to enforce federal immigration laws.
