U.S. Representative Jack Kingston toured the Appling County Food Processing (canning) Plant at the Appling County High School on Tuesday, July 7. Agriculture instructor at ACHS Jim Galvin led the tour and explained the different processes for canning and preserving vegatables. Pictured, Kingston learns how a corn sheller operates.
