Pictured is Camille Sims, who is the reigning Miss Junior Teen United States. Camille visited and spoke to students at Appling County Middle School and Appling County High School on Monday, October 6. Camille’s platform is “Fighting Hunger and Improving Wellness” and she shared information with local students about her experiences since becoming Miss Junior Teen United States. She is a sophomore at North Atlanta High School and the daughter of Thomas Sims and Nancy Sims of Atlanta. Camille is also the niece of Appling County High School teacher Sharon Sims Simpson.
