The City of Baxley will hold a Called Meeting on July 7, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall located at 282 E. Parker Street, Baxley, Ga. The primary purpose of the called meeting is a public hearing as well as any other business that may come before the Mayor and Council. The public hearing will offer opportunities for comments relating to the proposed zoning Residential (R-15) on property petitioned to be annexed by James T. and Tammie C. Culverhouse, located at 44 Jennifer Lane. Legal description of property to be annexed is as follows:

TRACT 1

All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 244 of the Second Land District of Appling County, Georgia and being more particularly shown and described as 0.759 acre, more or less, and according to that survey and plat thereof by M. Jerry Tomberlin, Jr. for G.R.L.S. No. 2942, said plat dated August 12, 2004, and being recorded in Plat Book 16, page 627, in the office of the Clerk, Superior Court, Appling County, Georgia, and by reference in incorporated herein descriptive and all other legal purposes.

TRACT 2

All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the Second Land District of Appling County, Georgia, and being more particularly shown and described as 0.750 acres, more or less, and according to that survey and plat thereof by M. Jerry Tomberlin, Jr. for G.R.L.S. No. 2942, said plat dated August 12, 2004, and being recorded in Plat Book 16, Page 627, in the office of the Clerk, Superior Court, Appling County, Georgia, and by reference incorporated herein descriptive and all other legal purposes.

This conveyance is subject to Declaration of Restrictions, Covenants, Limitations, Conditions, Reservations and Easements applicable to Oakridge Subdivision, Appling County, Georgia, dated January 1, 1999, recorded in Deed Book 323, page 448, in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court, Appling County, Georgia.
