Sheriff Benny Deloach would like to report the following incidents handled by deputies with the Appling County Sheriff’s Department.
On July 28, answered a call to Peachtree Street in reference to a domestic dispute. The dispute was between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Carlos M. Brayboy, age 24, of Millan, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct.
July 28, answered a call to Earl Cauley Road in reference to harassing phone calls. An ex-girlfriend keeps calling and complainant was advised of rights and referred to magistrate judge.
July 29, a complainant came to sheriff’s office to report child neglect. Person (s) traveling on Satilla Church Road came upon a small child standing by roadway. Grandfather came and took child. DFACS was contacted and the case was turned over to DFACS.
July 29, answered a call to Parker Street in reference to a domestic dispute. The dispute was between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
July 29, a complainant came to sheriff’s office to report deposit account fraud. The complainant stated unknown person (s) went into his Ebay account and gained access to his pay pal account.
July 29, answered a call to Gardner Road in reference to a theft. A complainant stated a girl’s ten-speed bicycle, blue in color, was taken from a residence. Investigation continues.
July 29, answered a call to Lennox Road and Ten Mile Road in reference to a vehicle fire. Vehicle had severe burn damage. No injuries were reported.
July 29, answered a call to Gardner Road in reference to a domestic dispute.The dispute was between ex-boyfriend and girlfriend.
July 31, answered a call to Gardner Road in reference to damage to property. A complainant stated that a person driving a dump truck pulled down a power line with truck.
July 31, answered a call to Gardner Road in reference to burglary. The complainant stated taken from his residence was an Exceleron computer, 32" Flat Screen TV and a Polaris 4-Wheeler. Complainant stated who took the items. Investigation continues.
July 31, answered a call to Altamaha School Road in reference to a dispute. The complainant stated her son had done some work for someone and had not been paid. Complainant was advised to see the magistrate office.
August 1, answered a call to Dyal School Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
Aug. 2, answered a call to Sumner Road in reference to a dispute. The dispute was between a husband and wife and was resolved before responding officer left the residence.
Aug. 3, answered a call to AP Hunter Road in reference to a fight. Juveniles were interviewed. Responding officer told juveniles to stay away from one another.
Aug. 3, answered a call to Central Street in reference to a dispute. The dispute was between acquaintances. Johnny Bryant, age 41, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
Aug. 4, answered a call to Satilla Church Road in reference to a prowler. The complainant stated someone was trying to get in the back door to the residence. When complainant got to the door a black male was seen going into the woods. Investigation continues.
Aug. 4, a complainant came to sheriff’s office to report a theft on Jekyll Road. Taken from complainant were a 28" T.V., a cell phone and some hand tools. Investigators found items had been taken to a local pawn shop. Investigation continues.
Aug. 4, answered a call to Coot Jones Street, Surrency, in reference to a dispute. The dispute was between an ex-husband and wife concerning child visitation.
Aug. 4, answered a call to Davis Landing Road in reference to a one-vehicle deer accident. No injuries were reported.
