On Friday, July 4, the night sky around Baxley will light up with a dazzling fireworks display at the Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. The annual event will be held at the area around the Young Farmers Tractor Pull/Appling Recreation Department Complex located on County Farm Road. The fireworks will start after sunset (about 9:00 p.m.) The community is invited to come be a part of the celebration. There will be plenty of parking at the recreation complex or the field across from the Appling County Road Department Building.
