Wendell Clint Quinn, 33, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Mr. Quinn was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County and was born Oct. 10, 1977. He was a member of Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Quinn was an accomplished electrician. He was an avid fisherman, football fan, racing fan and loved spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Thelma Tillman and paternal grandmother, Minnie Quinn.
Survivors include his wife, Kaci Nail Quinn of Baxley; one daughter, Kamdyn Jay Quinn of Baxley; his mother, Bliss Kerr of Baxley; his father, Lucky Quinn of Baxley; two brothers, Jerrod Quinn and Thomas Quinn, both of Baxley; and his grandfather, Will Quinn of Baxley.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Daniels, Chris Nail and the Rev. Darrell Quinn officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Adam Dean, Channing Branch, Josh Reynolds, Mitch Myers, Jimmy Shadron and Jamie Baxley.
Honorary pallbearers were Nicholas and James Quinn, Sam Mock, Josh Branch, Jessie Tillman, Jody Tillman, Rusty Kerr, Jeremy Smith, H. M. Herndon, Robby Kerr, Janna Reynolds, Brad Rentz, Andy Quinn, Willie Tillman and Timothy Nail and all friends and family in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by Claire Quinn and Kim Hall.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
