Appling County Primary School Principal Brenda Harvey, teachers, and staff members are looking forward to an outstanding school year. In preparation for the school year, each grade level at ACPS provides a list of supplies that each student will need for that grade level. This will assist parents in preparing students for the new school year. The following is a list of supplies requested for each grade:
PreKindergarten: fitted crib sheet, towel or small blanket, set of clothes (shirt, pants, socks, underwear), regular or large book bag, one box of Kleenex, two containers of Clorox Wipes, one box of baby wipes (Please place child’s name on towels, clothing, and book bag using a permanent marker.)
Kindergarten: 70 sheet wide-ruled composition book, pencil box, pencils, jumbo erasers (two pack), glue sticks (two pack), Crayola Crayons (eight count), Fiskar Scissors (blunt tip), clothes (extra changing in ziploc bag - please label), Lysol Spray (one can), one container of Clorox Wipes, Kleenex, Ziploc Bags (quart or gallon size), Germ-X (hand sanitizer), book bag, one ream of paper.
First grade: book bag, zippered pencil bag, two boxes of crayons (16 count), Fiskar Scissors, four big pink erasers, 24 – number two pencils (no decorative pencils, six jumbo glue sticks, three boxes of Kleenex, four dry erase markers, one dry erase eraser, one 12 oz. bottle of hand sanitizer, two highlighters, two containers of Clorox Wipes, one box of quart Ziploc Bags, one box of gallon Ziploc Bags, two reams of copy paper.
Second grade: 24 – number two yellow pencils, one box Kleenex, dry erase markers, one pack of wide ruled notebook paper, two boxes of crayons (no larger than 16 count, please), pink block erasers, one container Clorox Wipes, one bottle of hand sanitizer, book bag, two reams of copy paper.
