Georgia Fury 18 and under team wins 2011 NSA Tournament
On June 11 the Georgia Fury 18 and under team traveled to Brunswick to compete in the NSA Fastpitch Softball Tournament.
This team consists of players from the following counties: Appling, Bleckley, Brantley, Dodge, Jeff Davis, Lee, and Wayne.
The GA Fury team competed in the High School Division, which included ten teams and remained undefeated throughout the tournament.
Ashton Holt (Dodge) and Natalie Shiver (Lee) were the homerun hitters for the tournament. Brooke Nail (Appling), Ashton Holt (Dodge), and Lindsey Johnson (Jeff Davis) were the tournament pitchers.
