Carolyn Rose King Owens died May 14, 2011. Carolyn was born on July 27, 1954 to Willie and Marion King of Alamo.

She is survived by a daughter, Monica Phillips of Philadelphia, PA; two sons, Andy Hood and Keith Owens (Whitney) both of Brunswick; four grandchildren, Allison Phillips, Mickey Phillips, Anna Kate Owens and Tucker Owens; and two sisters, Shirley Mobley (Earl Jr.) of Baxley and Faye Miller (Lamar) of Jacksonville, FL.
