Bids from subcontractors will be received by Lentile Construction Company, Construction Manager (CM), on behalf of Appling County Board of Education at the CM office in Dublin, GA until 2:00p.m. EST on July 1, 2011 for the construction of Work Package 10D – Protective Covers and Canopies as it pertains to the following project:
Owner: Appling County Board of Education, Baxley, GA
Architect: SP Design Group, Macon, GA
Construction Manager: Lentile Construction Company, Dublin, GA
Project Number 10-003 Pre-K Addition to Appling County Elementary School
Project Number 10-004 Additions to Appling County Middle School
Both projects will be bid and constructed as one project; however, for accounting purposes, a cost breakdown by project must be provided upon request.
Bids may be submitted via electronic mail, standard mail, fax or in-person at the offices of the CM. It is the responsibility of bidders to confirm the CM's receipt of their proposal.
Qualification statements are available online at www.lentileconstruction.com and under Section 00201-F, Qualification Statement, of the bid documents. It is strongly encouraged that all bidders, complete and submit a qualification statement at least five (5) business days prior to the bid opening. All statements will be reviewed by the owner, architect and CM to assist in determining responsive, capable bidders and, upon submission, become the property of the CM. All information provided on the statements is to be to the best of the applicant's knowledge.
Bid documents and project drawings will be available online at www.lentileconstruction.com or by CD upon request. Alternatively, project drawings may be reserved for $250.00 by contacting Lentile Construction Company, appling@lentileconstruction.com or (478)-272-8356. Plan deposits will be refunded in full upon the timely return of the set in good condition and submission of a bid.
If required, the successful bidder may be asked to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to their contract price, executed by a Georgia licensed surety and listed on the latest edition of the Georgia Department of Treasury’s Listing of Certified Companies.
