Mary Ann Green Holton, 63, of Baxley, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at The Hospice House of Satilla in Waycross.
Mrs. Holton was born April 13, 1951 in Appling County to the late Winifred Nute “Jack” Green and the late Modena Johnson Green. She was a member of Friendship Congregational Christian Church. Mrs. Holton retired from Gibson McDonald Furniture and was the owner of Prime Time Video. She was preceded in death by a brother, W.N. Green.
Survivors include her husband, William L. Holton, Jr. of Baxley; two daughters, Angela Michelle Thomas and Lacie Baxley, both of Baxley; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Wendy) Thomas of Baxley; four sisters and brothers -in-law, Ann and Charles Aldridge of Baxley, Yunell Smith of Vidalia, Debbie and Richard Varnadore of Byron and Lynne and Randy Crummey of Baxley; two brothers and sisters-in- law, Edward Lee and Nancy Green of Byron and Arva Lee and Imogene Green of Baxley. Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. from Friendship Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. Barry Teutsch and the Rev. James Walsh officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Willie Lee Kersey, Jr., Wendell Brown, Neil Salter, Mark Walton, David Kersey, and Chad Hutchinson.
Music was rendered by Sandra Nettles, Glenda Kersey, and the Friendship Congregational Christian Church Choir.
