The word ‘love’ is bandied about continuously. Perhaps the word ‘love’ has become too commonplace in our language.
The word love is used over seven hundred times in the Bible. The true meaning of love, as defined in the Bible, has been corrupted in the common usage of our English language and society. Most often love is confused with infatuation. That elated “high” feeling we get when we “fall in love” is something that all-too-often is short lived, and unless replaced by true love, probably results in frayed relationships.
