Joffre and Angela Morris of Baxley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allie Jocelyn, to John Edward “Eddie” Pearson, the son of John and Tina Pearson of Baxley.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Earl and Fannie Mae McDaniel of Baxley and paternal granddaughter of Robert and Hilda Morris also of Baxley.
Allie is a 2010 graduate of Appling County High School. She is also a 2012 honor graduate of East Georgia College where she received an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. Allie is presently interning at the Appling County Department of Juvenile Justice. She will graduate with honors from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, receiving her Bachelor’s Science degree in Criminal Justice in May of 2014.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Carol Milton of Baxley. He is the paternal grandson of the late Edward and Christine Pearson of Baxley.
Eddie is the 2010 graduate of Appling Christian Academy. He also graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth with his Firefighter 1 and Hazardous Material First Responder Certification at the Awareness and Operational Levels, in November 2010.
He is employed at Inco Services, out of Alpharetta, and is a volunteer firefighter with the Ten Mile Fire Department.
The wedding ceremony will be held June 7 at six o’clock in the evening at Oakhill Plantation, 66 Georgia Circle, Hazlehurst. The reception will immediately follow the ceremony. No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
