Lee Burton, Republican candidate for Georgia House of Representatives - District 156, stopped by The Baxley News-Banner last week. Burton resides in Toombs County and is a Navy veteran, having served as a member of the U.S. Navy SEAL Team.
Republican activist and campaign manager Pat Tippett (shown above with Burton) joined Burton during the visit and she stated that “Burton is a man of honor and integrity; two qualities we need in a representative. It is my honor to support him in his quest to become our next State Representative and I hope you will join me in doing the same.” House District 156 is currently held by incumbent Republican Greg Morris, also of Vidalia, and the two will face each other in the Primary Election in May. The district encompasses Toombs and Montgomery Counties and the northern portion of Appling County. If you would like more information about Burton visit http://www.leeburton156.com.
