The City of Baxley will hold a Called Meeting on December 19th, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall located at 282 E. Parker Street, Baxley, Georgia. The primary purpose of the Called Meeting is a Public Hearing as well as any other business that may come before the Mayor and Council. The Public Hearing will offer opportunities for comments on an application for annexation on the proposed zoning (Business/Residential BR-1), for property owned by Francisco Saucedo located at 104 San Marco Drive. All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Pine-Crest Subdivision, Southeast of Baxley, Georgia a part of Original Land Lot No. 292, Second Land District, Appling County, Georgia, consisting of 0.96 acre, more or less, and being Lots 1 and 2, Block C of said subdivision and being more particularly described according to the courses, metes, and bounds of that certain survey and plat thereof by Merlin J. Tomberlin, GRLS 2477, dated 5/15/97, recorded in Plat Book 14, Page 272, Appling County, Georgia Deed records, which is incorporated herein and made a part hereof for all purposes.
