Graveside services for Kenneth McBath Talley, Sr. of Dublin were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at the Ohoopee Cemetery in Toombs County. Visitation was held 2:30 p.m. until time of the services.
Talley, 91, passed away on May 19, 2013 in Dublin. He was the son of the late William Olin and Agnes McBath Talley Sr. of Toombs County and was the widower of Beatrice Ray Talley. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cay Fountain and a son, Greg Talley.
He was a member of the Baxley First Baptist Church, and had served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a farmer and a fisherman.
Survivors include children, Carol (Rodney) Powell of Savannah, Ken (Stephanie) Talley of Hilliard, Fla., Greg (Deanna) Stone of Anniston, Ala., Rodney (Tracie) Stone of Milledgeville, Stacey (Cathy) Stone of Helena; two brothers, W.O. (Joyce) Talley Jr. of Ohoopee and Tommy (Janice) Talley of Ohoopee; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
