Pirate teams play in region tourneys

The Appling County Pirates and Lady Pirates basketball teams start play in the Region 1-AAA tournaments this week.

The Pirates are the fifth seed and start against eighth seed New Hampstead on Tuesday, February 12 in Tattnall County. The Lady Pirates play S.E. Bulloch on Monday, February 11 at Johnson of Savannah.
