All this hysteria about guns is ridiculous. The “experts” are talking in circles as they attempt to solve the tragedy. The problem is not guns, the problem is MORALITY.

When the treasonous government leaders took the Ten Commandments, the Bible and God out of the schools, this is what they got. And the tragedy was made worse when many school officials and teachers welcomed it. And they pretend to be surprised. As a result our children, teens and young people do not have a moral base to live by. Further, the hypocritical experts make themselves even more foolish by ignoring the fact that 33 people are reported to be killed by guns every day in the Nation.
Further, the school children are fanatically taught the lie of Evolution, that they are nothing but animals. And again the officials pretend to be surprised when they act like wild animals. One of my college majors was Evolution and I can speak with authority. Every point of Evolution is a lie, and every one of the college professors in England and America, said they welcomed it because it did away with the Judgment and Hell. And they boasted that with moral standards gone they could experience all kinds of sex activity without fear of God’s punishment.
The situation is going to get worse and not better, and the “experts” are totally helpless to do anything about it unless the Bible is put back in the schools and Evolution is removed. A college has been established in California to teach against Evolution. Professors cannot teach there without advanced science degrees.
America’s sacred “Declaration of Independence” emphatically declares, “that all men are CREATED equal. That they are endowed by their CREATOR…”(emphasis added) if this were taught again, it would solve many problems. I spent 37 years in the Air Force and retired as a Lt. Col. and saw the results of anti-God teachings. God help us.

“OUR FEELINGS”
All feelings come and feelings go; But feelings are deceiving!
Our Solid rock is God’s own Word; None else is worth believing!
If all our hearts should feel condemned; In need some sweet token, God’s Word is greater than our hearts; For it cannot be broken!

... and I nearly fell off my chair laughing. "EVERY" college professor said this? And not only that, they all said they believed it so they could go out and have sex?
Here I was thinking I was going to read a sensible and cogent argument for personal responsibility when in fact, I found myself laughing at a hysteria-filled, hyperbolic rant.
No, America's biggest problem is denying the sanctity of human life by promoting abortion and the love of our own bodies over everything else. We do need to return to teaching the love of Jesus Christ in schools and from every avenue possible. Too many children are growing up eternally lost and unhappy because of that.
You never even attempt to define a logical path between evolution and violence, sans your assertion that evolution teaches that we're nothing but “animals.” However, to accept evolution, regardless of whether it's true, does not mean accepting the absence of a Creator or the position of mankind as merely another rung in the evolutionary ladder. Evolution could be the answer to “how” without being the answer to “why.” Furthermore, there are few ethical doctrines, whether deontological or teleological in nature, that are incompatible with evolution.
The United States is the only first-world country in which as many as half of the population believe in creationism. If evolution were the source of our immorality, we would expect to see MUCH less morality in countries that DO entirely embrace evolution. However, this is not the case at all. The USA has a murder rate of 4.8 per 100,000 people. Japan, a country that is less than 1% Christian, a country with a public that entirely embraces Darwin's theory as truth, has a homicide rate of 0.4 per 100,000 people, less than TEN PERCENT of ours. If evolution truly causes murder, why is it that, when we look at countries to don't accept it, such as Brazil, the USA, or Arabic countries, we see much higher homicide rates than those of countries to do accept evolution, such as Japan, Germany, England, France, New Zealand, Iceland, and Australia?
I'll also point out that you fail to rebut gun control beyond calling it “ridiculous” and then immediately drawing emphasis to evolution, which you falsely believe to be the true source of our problems. I say this not out of a belief in gun control, but out of disappointment. As a stone-cold opponent of gun control, I clicked on your article expecting to find myself in at least partial agreement with you. I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment.
I also agree with teaching the Bible in public schools. However, asserting that our murder rate is caused by evolution destroys our credibility by making demonstrably false assertions.
Adam Lanza, who's crimes are the cause of this debate, did not attend public school beyond a very young age. From this fact, we know that taking evolution out of school would not have influenced his actions. He did, however, watch the news. In doing so he realized that he could become more famous by being evil than he ever could by being good. By ignoring good deeds and covering tragedies, the media conveys to our youth that, in order to become famous in America, they need only be evil. The very media that obsessively tries to uncover the motives of these killers fails to realize that it's their very coverage that motivates them to kill. Don't blame guns. Don't blame evolution. Blame the media.
