Randall Beecher, 67, of Baxley, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at The Pavilion after an extended illness. Beecher was born February 27, 1945 in Appling County to the late Brice C. Beecher and the late Sallie Mae Craven Beecher and was a retired log truck driver. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ken Beecher, Pete Beecher, Tommy Beecher, Wilton Beecher, and Johnny Beecher.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Martha Beecher; daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Ricky Beckworth and Missy and Kevin Parker; grandchildren, Matt and Samantha Beecher, David and Brittany Beckworth, Jessie and Adam Gruber, Blake and Courtney Beecher, Mason and Merrick Parker; great grandchildren, Riley Beecher, Alexis Gruber, Ivy Beckworth, and Jameslee Beecher; sister and brother-in-law, Francis and Edwin Johnson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Franklin and Cheryl Beecher, Fred Beecher, and Michael and Charlotte Beecher; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Sue Dixon and Pat Blanton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Surrency Community Bible Church with the Rev. Carlton Rowell, the Rev. Jerry Rogers, and Matt Beecher officiating. Interment followed in Surrency City Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers were Earl Beecher, Glenn Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, Lloyd Beecher, Mickey Beecher and Joe Beecher.
Musical Selections were rendered by Terry Hesters and the Rev. Carl Rowell.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
