Griffin and Hipps to wed
Christy Griffin and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brannon of Baxley are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, April Nicole Griffin of Baxley to Kinley Remington Hipps, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Hipps, also of Baxley and Godparents Mr. and Mrs. Don Grinstead of McRae.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harry Griffin and Joan Higgins, Mr. and Mrs. Danny Walsh, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Wayne Sellers, Calvin Brannon and Martha Bryant.
Miss Griffin is a 2010 graduate of Appling County High School and presently employed at Prime Time Video in Baxley.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hipps, Mr. and Mrs. Eduardo Cortes, Inez Hipps all from Baxley, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Prickett of McRae and Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Moxley of Cadwell.
Mr. Hipps is a 2010 graduate of Appling County High School and currently enrolled at Altamaha Technical College in Hazlehurst for a welding degree, and is employed full-time with Thompson Hardwood in Hazlehurst.
The couple will be married on April 23. Invitations will be mailed.
