Mr. and Mrs. Mark (Paula) Dailey of Alma and Mr. and Mrs. Shon (Christy) Jordan of the Bickley Community, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Laura Ashlee Jordan of Alma, to Adam Michael Barber of Alma, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wendell (Denise) Justice, of Waycross and Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Rebecca) Barber of Blackshear.
The bride-to-be is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Redius (Lynette) Spell of Alma, and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis (Patricia) Jordan, of the Bickley Community. She is the maternal great-granddaughter of the late Early and Mildred Spell of Baxley.
She is a 2010 Graduate of Bacon County High School. She is currently attending Waycross College and works part-time for Bankers Data Services in Alma.
The prospective bridegroom is the paternal grandson of Ms. Joann Barber and the late John Barber of Alma, and the maternal grandson of Ms. Luella Boatright and the late Norman Boatright of Scuffletown.
He is a 2005 graduate of Bacon County High School and he is employed with Live Oak Homes in Waycross.
The couple will be married at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16 in an outdoor ceremony at The Inn at Blueberry Plantation in Alma. A reception will follow at the Roger Staten Complex- 110 Johnson Lake Road Alma.
Out-of-town invitations have been mailed, but all relatives and friends are invited to attend the ceremony and reception.
