The Appling County Pirates (7-8 overall, 4-5 Region 1-AAA) started the week at home against the Tattnall County Warriors with the Pirates winning 77-75 in overtime.
Leading the Pirates in scoring were C.J. Alexander 20 points, Kevin Johnson 13 points, Ronald Handsome 10 points, Davontae Wilkerson nine points, Vernon Dasher seven points, Anthony Rayner six points, Heisman Johnson five points and Jordan Vann five points.
The Pirates second contest of the week came on the road against Johnson of Savannah with the Pirates losing 49-89.

The Pirates final game of the week was at home against Southeast Bulloch with the Pirates losing in overtime 65-70. The Pirates leading scorers were C.J. The Pirates have three games upcoming this week with the first on the road in Pierce County on Tuesday, January 15.
The second game is scheduled for Friday, January 18 at home against New Hampstead.
