Martin Luther King Jr. Festivities set
Appling County Branch of the NAACP is proud to announce the festivities for MLK.
The Grand Marshal Program will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Saint John Church of God in Christ on Phillips Street at 6:00 p.m. The Grand Marshal is Mrs. Drissie Mae Howard Williams. The theme is “Making the Dream a Reality.”
The MLK parade will be held on Saturday, January 19, at 3:00 p.m. Line up begins at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Park.

We invite all churches, citizens and community organizations to come out and support the celebration of Dr. Kingʼs birthday.
