Funeral services are slated for Thursday, January 10 at 3:00 p.m. at the Baxley Church of God for Mandy Courson, 28, of Baxley.

Internment will follow in the Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery Extension. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 9 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Swain Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.

O Lord, we beg of You, through Your loving kindness, have mercy on the soul of Your servant Mandy Courson, and now that she is set free from the defilements of this mortal flesh, restore her to her heritage of everlasting salvation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I did not know Mandy but I have a sister that belongs to the Baxley church of God. We are so sorry for your sensless loss . Our prayers reach out to you and your family.

I used to live in Appling Co. How are y'all going to find 12 people that aren't related to the family to serve on the jury? Seem's to me every one there is related.
