Lady Pirates play to 3-4 record

The Appling County Lady Pirates (3-4 overall, 1-1 Region 1-AAA) hosted the Pierce County Bears on December 4 with the Lady Pirates winning their first Region 1-AAA game 47-37. Leading the Lady Pirates were Briyanna Brantley 18 points and Alexus Boles 14 points.

The Lady Pirates second game of the week came against region foe New Hampstead on December 7. The Lady Pirates were not able to win coming up just short 30-35. Leading the Lady Pirates were Khalia Burkett eight points, Boles seven points and Nathalie Diaz 12 rebounds.

The Lady Pirates are scheduled to play two region contests this week, hosting Brantley County on Tuesday, December 11 and travelling to Savannah High on December 14. Both contests are scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
