As expected, November would be a busy month for the food bank; however, the need for food set a new record for serving households, daily and for the week. On Thursday, Nov. 15, the food bank served 44 households with 3,649 pounds of food in 4-1/2 hours; which was on average is 82 pounds of food, every 6-1/4 minutes. For the week, that is, the three days we are open to the public, we served 92 households, a new record.
