Paul William Haffele, 79, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Community Hospice Facility in Vidalia. He was a Retired United States Navy Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War. Haffele was a member of the Navy Fleet Reserve and a proud supporter of the Wounded Warriers and USO. He was in the automotive parts business for over 30 years. His wife of 41 years, Mary Jerrell Leggett Haffele, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Berryhill of Baxley and Lana Jean Stone and husband Steve of Baxley; four grandchildren, Chris Griffin, Matt Griffin, Mort Berryhill and Amy Berryhill; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Eldon Haffele of Apple River, IN; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Nancy Handley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. from the funeral home.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, November 18, at 2:00 p.m. at the David E. Miles Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment followed in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with full military honors.
