Loretta M. Crapps, 92, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 in the Pavilion. Loretta was born April 17, 1920 in Canada to the late Adrien Hebert and the late Flora Marie Lucier Hebert. She was a member of St. Rose Lima of Catholic Church and the Heritage Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Horace Crapps.
Survivors include her daughter, Terri Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three sons, Tommie Crapps of Virginia Beach, VA, Larry Crapps of Buford and Martin Crapps of Baxley; one sister, Anita Johnston of Hawaii; one brother, Gilbert Hebert of Clayton; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Wilson Crapps and wife, Iris Jean of Baxley and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Loretta Crapps were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Father Rafael Estrada officiating. Interment followed in Miles Chapel Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Tommie Crapps, Larry Crapps, Robert Crapps, John Crapps, John Johnson and Mike Ellis.
Honorary pallbearers were her special family from the Heritage Center and friends and staff of the Pavilion.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
