Eagles take a 42-6 win; improve to 8-0
The Appling Christian Academy Eagles traveled to McDonough Friday night to play the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights for a GCAA conference game. The Eagles got off to a slow start but managed to get things going and take a 26-6 halftime lead. The second half went the Eagles way and ended in a 42-6 win for the Eagles. Friday night’s victory improves the Eagles to 8-0.
The last home and regular season game will be this Friday night at Eagle Field at Crossties as the Eagles go head to head with Shiloh Hills Christian School from Kennesaw.
The Shiloh Challengers are 6-1 and will be fighting for a spot in the playoffs. Friday night will also be Senior Night at Eagle Field, as ACA will honor its senior football players.
Senior recognition will begin at 7:15 p.m. and kick-off at 7:30 p.m. Please come out and support the Eagles.
