Mr. and Mrs. Rogers to celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Eddie (Elease) Rogers will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, October 13, with a dinner party at the Folsom Lodge in Baxley.
The former Edith Elease Akins and Eddie Rogers were married October 4, 1952 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Brown.
Together the couple have three children, the late Lynn Price, Daryl Rogers of Enfield, C.T., and Kathy (David) Brock of Orlando, Florida. Eddie also has three children, Jackie (Darrell) Dunn of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jimmie (Joyce) McLeod
of Palatka, FL, and Reggie Smith of Fort Pierce, FL. Together they have 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Elease is retired from Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT. Eddie is retired from the Burndy Corporation also of Norwalk, CT.
