“Norma” Guest Smith
“Norma” Guest Smith, 72, of Brunswick and Jesup, died Monday, March 21, 2011, after an extended illness. The Glynn County native was a homemaker, caretaker, and predeceased by her first husband: Hugh Max Smith, Sr.
Survivors are four daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela (Arty) Dice of Jesup, Kerri (Wilbert) Lawrence of Baxley, Julie (James) Pyle of Reidsville and Melissa (William) Arnold of Waynesville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis (Diana) Smith of Waynesville and Tony (Miranda) Smith of Jesup; three sisters, Janice Buchan and Mary Burgess, both of Brunswick, Judy Bergeron of New Hampshire, 28 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Memorial services were at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Crossroads Church of God with Pastor Hulet Smith officiating.
The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup, was in charge of the arrangements.
