ACA wins 72-6 in battle of Eagles
The Appling Christian Academy Eagles traveled to face the Augusta Eagles on Friday, September 14 with ACA winning 72-6 to improve to 5-0 on the season.
ACA was greatly outnumbered and were smaller but this did not intimidate the Eagles.
The Eagles started the game off strong with an interception that was returned for a touchdown that provided the spark for the victory.
The Eagles will face Abundant Life, of Hardeeville, South Carolina, on Friday, September 21, for Homecoming at Eagle field. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to support the Eagles.
