Ahl and Hayes to marry April 2 at Mims Baptist Church in Alma
Natalie Covington wishes to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of her mother, Donna Elaine Ahl, daughter of Drue and Brenda Ahl, to Jeremy Scott Hayes, son of the Rev. Wayne and Joann Hayes.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Cliff and Faye Griffin of Baxley and the late Sonny Burkhalter. Her paternal grandparents are Vera Ahl of Baxley and the late Carlos Ahl.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Oliver and Doris Varnedore. His paternal grandparents are Winnie Lou Hayes and the late Rev. Junior Hayes.
Donna is a graduate of Appling County High School and is presently employed as a Master Cosmetologist at Scissors Palace, Douglas.
Jeremy is a graduate of Bacon County High School and is presently employed at Wal-Mart Distribution and the owner/operator of Hayes Stump Grinding.
The wedding will take place Saturday, April 2 at 4:00 p.m. at Mims Baptist Church in Alma.
A reception will follow in the church social hall. All friends and family are invited to attend.
Only out of town invitations will be mailed.
