Whitney Herndon to wed Christopher Mincey
Heather Herndon, Ashley Herndon, Keaton Herndon, Rusty Herndon and Jodi Hunter are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their sister, Whitney Lara Herndon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Bo Herndon, Jr. and the late Cheryl Morris Herndon, to Christopher (ReRe) LeRoy Mincey, son of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy and Tashe Mincey, all of Baxley.
Whitney's maternal grandparents are Charlie and Sandra Morris of Baxley. Paternal grandparents are the late Edgar Russell Herndon, Sr. and Louis C. Herndon of Baxley.
Christopher's maternal grandparents are Wayne and Joann Bruce of Baxley. His paternal grandparents are the late Wendell and Imogene Mincey.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Appling County High School.
The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Appling County High School. He is currently employed with Boykin erectors as an Ironworker.
The couple will be united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 7:45 p.m. The wedding will be held at the couple╒s home at 257 Anna Lee Road, Baxley. A reception to follow at Spring Branch Church Social Hall.
All friends and family are invited to share in this special day. No local invitations will be sent out.
The couple will reside in Baxley.
