Three shot at local club

Sheriff Benny Deloach reports that at approximately 2:30 a.m. on July 29 Appling County 911 received a call about shots fired at the WE WE Club on Jekyll Road.

Deputies arrived and found that three persons had been shot. Thomas Vann, Jr. age 36, Shamarcus Carr, Jr. age 23, and Quamane Carr age 31 were the victims. The victims were carried to Appling HealthCare and then transported to other hospitals.

At this time several persons of interest are being investigated. The investigation is being conducted by the Appling County Sheriff’s Office and the Baxley Police Department.
