Simpson and Drawdy to speak vows Aug. 4
Mr. and Mrs. James (Janice) Bailey, also Grady Simpson of Hazlehurst are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rebecca Desireé Simpson, to Robert Jay “RJay” Drawdy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Jennie) Drawdy of Graham.
The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Rebecca and the late Lowell Stone of Baxley. She is the paternal granddaughter of Jackie and the late Hugh Simpson of Hazlehurst.
Miss Simpson is currently employed with J. M. Miles Construction, Inc.
The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of Buck and Mary Williams of Baxley and the paternal grandson of Eula Mae Drawdy and the late Jack Drawdy.
Drawdy is currently employed with Local 474 Operating Engineers.
The couple will be united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 4:00 p.m. The wedding will be held at Bell Street Church of God in Hazlehurst with a reception immediately following. No local invitations will be sent; all family and friends are invited to attend.
