Over and over again this newspaper has stressed the importance of voting. The time has arrived; the July 31 General Primary is here.
Your vote is your voice! It’s your way to hold politicians accountable. Thomas Jefferson once penned, “Should things go wrong at any time, the people will set them to rights by the peaceable exercise of their elective rights.”
Men and women have died to give you the freedom to cast your vote in our Republic. Don’t let their sacrifices pass in vain. I urge you once again to go to the polls on July 31 and cast your vote.
