TSPLOST – Heart of Georgia Altamaha District
-The Transportation Sales Tax did pass in Appling County with 2,586 voting in favor of the tax and 2,272 voting against the tax. The tax also passed in the entire Heart of Georgia area by a vote of 28,677 in favor and 26,782 opposed. The Heart of Georgia was one of three areas to pass the measure out of the 12 regional districts.
