Senior citizens need fan donations

The most vulnerable group for heat related illnesses are the elderly.

That is why the Heart of Georgia Altamaha Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging is encouraging donations of new box fans to the Appling County Senior Citizen Center. Fans will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. For more information, please contact the Appling County Senior Center at 367-6127.
