FLORENCE B. TILLMAN
Florence B. Tillman, 94, of Surrency, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Pavilion. Mrs. Tillman was born Sept. 21, 1917, to the late Edwin Horace Beane, Sr. and the late Eura Overstreet Beane. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wilbur Tillman and a brother, Edwin “Bud” Beane, Jr.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Kay Craven of Baxley and Patricia Davis of Jacksonville, FL; one son, John Stanley Tillman of Surrency; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survives.
Grave side services for Florence B. Tillman was conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Derek Hobbs officiating.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Pavilion Activity Department.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
