“Juneteenth” celebration set in Appling County

The Appling County Branch NAACP will have their first “Juneteenth” celebration this Saturday, June 30 at Rachel Missionary Baptist Church at 8:00 p.m.

This celebration is in remembrance of freedom for all. Slavery officially ended on June 19, 1863. Everyone is invited to come out and share in this celebration. The program will showcase some of Appling County’s finest talent.
