Independence Day fireworks and activities planned
The following activities have been planned in celebration of Independence Day on Wednesday, July 4:
- Max Deen Pool and Ernest J. Parker Pool will be having free admission and a cookout with hotdogs, hamburgers and soft drinks from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- The annual fireworks display is scheduled for Wednesday, July 4 at the Appling County Young Farmer’s Tractor Pull Track area. The firework display is scheduled to start at dark. Parking is available at the recreation complex or the field beside the tractor pull track.
The News-Banner will be closed Wednesday, July 4. The staff wishes you a safe and happy Independence Day.
