Services for Melba Wright Warren, 86, of Dublin, were held Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home in Dublin with burial following in Dublin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Al O’Quinn and the Rev. Larry Waldrep officiated.
Melba Wright Warren
Mrs. Warren was the daughter of the late Stubbs Wright and the late Penny Peavey Wright. She was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and the Naomi Sunday School Class. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Warren, brothers, Albert (Ocelee), F.M. and Sam (Mary) Wright, sisters, Matra Thomas, Alberta (Elmer) Dixon and a great-grandchild, Nathaniel Warren.
Survivors include her sons, Mike (Bunny) Warren of Dublin, Phil (Jan) Warren of Baxley; grandchildren, Patrick (Jennifer) Warren, Paul (Christy) Warren, Catherine Warren and Andrew Warren; great grandchildren, Olivia Warren,
Taylor Thrasher, Hunter Thrasher and Shelby Ann Thrasher; nieces and nephews, Jack (Nancy) Dixon, Jimmy Wright, Reggie Wright, Katrina (Don) Lynn and Patsy (Ronnie) Thomas also survive.
