County coordinator receives leadership award

Janet C. Hollingsworth, Appling County Extension Coordinator and Family and Consumer Sciences Agent for Appling and Wayne Counties, recently received the Southeast District County Extension Coordinator Leadership Award. 

Out of 40 counties in the Southeast District, Hollingsworth received this honor for outstanding leadership not only in her county, but for service to the University and her professional associations as well.  Hollingsworth has worked with the Cooperative Extension for the past 18 years and was promoted to the role of County Coordinator in 2009.
